Former President Donald Trump did not disappoint on Sunday night at the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference as he took the stage in his first public appearance since leaving office in January.
The hyped-up audience in attendance, not to mention the overwhelmingly positive reaction on social media, proved what we all knew — that Trump is the clear and undeniable leader of the Republican party and any current or prospective member of Congress who desires even the slightest chance of winning would be smart to get behind him ASAP.
According to Fox News, one prominent Republican that has often been touted as a future GOP presidential nominee, former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, is raising eyebrows after spending the past two months flipping and flopping over how she feels about the former president.
Remember, it wasn’t all that long ago that Haley joined Democrats and RINOs in condemning Trump’s rhetoric and actions in accusations that he was at least partly responsible for the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.
In February, Haley made clear in an interview with Politico that she was not happy with Trump, saying “We need to acknowledge he let us down.”
“He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again,” Haley said, clearly making sure the country was well aware of her stance on the issue.
Fast-forwarding to a few weeks ago, as excitement about Trump began to build once again, Haley requested a meeting with the former president at his Mar-a-Lago home — a meeting that was quickly rejected by the 45th president, which was a reminder that he never forgets those who betray him.
But once again, after Sunday night’s incredible CPAC performance, Haley attempted to get back in the good graces of the former president, heaping praise on him for his fiery speech that set the tone for Republicans moving into the 2022 midterm elections and beyond.
Strong speech by President Trump about the winning policies of his administration and what the party needs to unite behind moving forward. The liberal media wants a GOP civil war. Not gonna happen.

The blowback from both liberal mainstream media outlets and millions of Trump’s supporters was fierce, all of them calling into question how Haley seems to favor the direction of the prevailing winds at any given time instead of taking a stance and sticking to it.
HE IS NOT THE PRESIDENT.
Nikki you pathetic, flip flopping, spineless hack.
I often call Rubio a weathercock.
Turns out, that’s far better suited to you.
This is why you’ll never be POTUS.
You have no center.
You’re a lemming.
And a con.

Only time will tell how Haley’s future in politics will shape up, but it’s not looking good at this point. It’s probably time for her to enter the private sector and move on, because she’s very clearly lost the support of 75 million Trump supporters within the timeframe of a month or so.
