[VIDEO] NJ Dem Councilwoman’s SUV Caught On Camera Mowing Down Uber Eats Biker, And Not Stopping

How on earth can you literally mow down a bike rider in broad daylight and just keep going? That’s what happened in New Jersey when Democrat city councilwoman Amy DeGise was hurling down the street in her SUV, and she came in direct contact with an Uber Eats biker, who she plowed into like a bat out of hell…. and then she just kept on goin’ like nothing had happened. That’s right, a loving Dem politician just committed a “hit and run” on camera.

The New York Post reported that a New Jersey councilwoman allegedly hit a cyclist with her SUV and knocked him off his bike— then sped away without stopping, according to reports and stunning footage. Jersey City councilwoman Amy DeGise was captured on camera slamming into Andrew Black at 8 a.m. on July 19, causing him to fly over vehicle’s hood and fall to the ground, according to hudpost.com.

“I look left, suddenly I just hear ‘Ba[m].’ I get hit,” said Black, a 29-year-old UberEats deliveryman. “I roll over and I’m in such pain.” Instead of stopping to help, the lawmaker drove away from the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Forrest Street in a Nissan Rogue, said Black, who was able to stand up shortly after the accident.

Black didn’t suffer any major injuries — but is angry that a community leader failed to do the right thing.

Many are pointing out that the light was red for the biker and green for the councilwoman. Yes, that’s true. The bike rider could have been at fault for running the light, however, she’s in a giant SUV, and she clearly hit a human being. She should have stopped. That is a hit and run, doesn’t matter who caused it.

How did she know the bike rider wasn’t injured or dead?

This heartless woman should be forced to resign and then arrested… instead, since she had the right of way, she was given a summons for leaving the scene of an accident and failing to report it.
