After failing to reach a new contract agreement, the far-right cable network One America News will no longer be available on Verizon’s Fios TV service starting next weekend.
Following news that OAN may be discontinued by the telecommunications giant, The Daily Beast initially reported Thursday morning that the network might soon be “impossible to find.”
Due to AT&T’s removal of OAN from its own lineup in April, potential DirecTV subscribers who also watched the network were lost.
OAN will no longer be available on Fios after July 30th, according to a statement provided by Verizon to CBS News on Thursday afternoon. The network was accused by the corporation of refusing to accept “fair terms.”

Verizon reported that: “As is customary between content distributors and content providers, our carriage negotiations with OAN have been standard, business-as-usual negotiations. As always, the negotiations were centered on the economy, but OAN refused to settle on reasonable conditions. We were unable to come to an agreement, and as a result, as of July 31, 2022, we will no longer have the ability to offer our consumers this programming, which will also be taken off the Fios TV schedule.”
According to Verizon, “Our company has long supported giving customers the freedom to choose the content they want to watch, and our Fios TV platform offers a wide and diverse choice of programming options, including a la carte options, that strive to meet our millions of customers’ various content needs and preferences.”
OAN viewers in the US will only be able to watch the network’s programs on KlowdTV, GCI, and Vidgo without DirecTV and now Verizon.
Owner of OAN Herring Networks Inc. has not yet responded to the termination of its final significant distributor.
OAN anchor Dan Ball invited his fans to assist him in his investigation into AT&T board chairman William Kennard when it was revealed that the channel will no longer be available on DirecTV.
Ball informed his audience, “You heard me describe who he is, his past, and his connection to the Obamas and Clintons for decades. “Dial AT&T customer service. Every day and hour, complain, berate, email, and telephone.
“If you have any dirt on Mr. Kennard, please show it to me so I can put it on this program,” Ball said in closing.
